Ok I know what you're thinking. You've heard this all before right? Wrong!!!!! It really truly is possible to take care of your skin, hair and afford good quality products without spending a fortune.
Why do I know this you ask? Because at this stage in my life, I am a full time student and on a very limited budget.
I will admit up until this year, I had fallen off the bandwagon called 'taking care of myself' and that included skin care and makeup. I am back on that bandwagon, sitting up the front with the reins in my hands and the handbrake off!
Before taking the studying plunge, I had been using high end products including Clinique and Napoleon Perdis both of which gave me beautiful results with my face and the Napoleon Perdis makeup is also lovely and good quality. However, once my bank account plummeted I decided to set about finding products that would still give me good results (and yes shock horror that is possible) and testing some of them out.
Not only have I found skin care products that I find work well for me, and are affordable. I have also been researching the ingredients listed in these products, and then comparing them to the high end products with surprising results.
Stay tuned for my next instalment!

All about me
At the age of 48 I had a major health scare, and luckily had a great outcome. Having said that, it dawned on me that it had been far too long since I had really taken good care of myself, and loved myself. So my new journey of discovery began.
Youtube became my new obsession, watching every makeup tutorial I could, and finally discovering Aussie makeup channels!
To say I have learnt new things is an understatement!
My makeup collection has grown, my skin care routine has changed tremendously and the bonus is that my skin has responded really positively to my new routine.
